Trophy Guru is an online service for turning photographs of trophy inscriptions and supporting winner records into a reviewed club archive. You keep the trophies at the club, upload source photographs, check the proposed names and years, and decide which records are ready to share.
The service is for recovering and organising existing history. It does not sell new trophies, physically engrave names or replace the club’s responsibility to check historical evidence.
What you provide
Start with photographs of the trophy and its engraved areas. Include the title and overlapping views where lettering curves around the bowl or base. Photographs of honours boards, result sheets and other winner records can provide additional evidence for the same trophy.
Keep your original files and the physical sources. A digital transcription is a useful record, but it does not preserve every detail of the object. Follow the club’s handling arrangements and use the photography checklist when assembling the image set.

What still requires a person
Reflections, worn lettering and unfamiliar names can produce incorrect readings. The club should compare each proposed record with the source photographs. Where initials or a missing year create uncertainty, consult another source or leave the question open.
We do not guarantee an accuracy percentage, a fixed processing time for a whole cabinet, or recovery of every worn inscription. The free first trophy lets you evaluate the actual workflow on your own collection.
How the private archive differs from the public board
The working archive holds the evidence and editable records behind account access. Publication creates a separate honours board for the information the club has approved for sharing. It does not give visitors access to private source images or member matching information. The club can withdraw publication.

Pricing and the first trophy
Your first trophy is free, with up to 12 saved photographs and no payment card required. Additional trophy credits cost £7.50 for one, £60 for ten or £250 for fifty, including VAT. Collections of 150 or more start at £525. Core archive credits are purchased once, do not expire and have no per-user or subscription fee.
Optional Intelligent Golf integration is a separate offer at £299 per club per year. Its availability and scope should be checked on the integration page. Screen hardware and on-site installation are not included in the core archive offer. Read the full pricing before deciding on a larger collection.
Export and handover
CSV export provides a portable copy of the recorded information for use in spreadsheet tools or another workflow. Check the exported columns against your needs; it is not a promise of direct compatibility with every club management system or a complete backup of uploaded images. Retain the original evidence and agree how the next committee will receive responsibility for the archive.
