What analytics measures

If you agree, we count visits and selected actions on public pages. This helps us see what works and what needs to be clearer. We may count clicks on public signup links. We do not measure activity on account or archive pages.

Google Analytics may receive your browser and device type, rough country or region, and the domain of the site that linked you here. Selected campaign tags, such as utm_source=chatgpt.com, help us see how people found the site. We exclude other query parameters.

What is deliberately excluded

The analytics code does not send:

• names, email addresses or account details;
• club or member records, dates of birth or membership numbers;
• trophy names, winner names, notes or search terms;
• uploaded images, filenames or image contents; or
• internal trophy, member, winner or club identifiers.

Account and archive pages are not measured. Honours board routes are reduced to broad categories before measurement.

Guest trophy trials

You can try one trophy without an account. An essential, secure browser cookie lets this browser return to its private trial. Guest records and photographs expire after 24 hours and are removed by the next scheduled cleanup, normally within 30 minutes. Clearing the cookie loses access to an unsaved trial.

Photographs are uploaded when you choose them. When you select “Read these photos”, they are sent to our existing OpenAI photo-reading service to suggest names and years. Check the suggestions against your photographs. Saving an account retains the same trophy and photographs in your private club archive; it does not publish them.

With analytics consent, we measure actions such as opening the editor, previewing a trophy and saving a trial. These events contain no trophy names, winner names, photographs, email addresses or entered text.

Your choice

We save your choice in this browser. Use Privacy & cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change it. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending analytics events. We also remove the Google Analytics cookies that this site can access.

Google Analytics

Google provides the analytics service and may process analytics data on our behalf. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in the Trophy.guru implementation. Read Google's privacy policy for more information about Google's processing.

Writesonic and AI crawler traffic

We use Writesonic to understand how AI and search crawlers access our public information. For requests identifying themselves as supported crawlers, we send the public page address, request method, response status, user-agent, IP address and available country information. We remove query strings and reduce referring addresses to their website origin. Crawler identification is based on the request's user-agent and is not proof that an AI service recommends us.

After you accept analytics, we also send a public page visit to Writesonic with your IP address, browser user-agent, available country information and the referring website origin. We do not set a Writesonic tracking cookie. Account, archive, honours board, upload and administrative routes are excluded. Visit reports are queued briefly in memory and sent from our server.
