From your trophy cabinet to a searchable club history

The public honours board is the result of an archive your club has checked. Begin with photographs of engraved cups, plates, shields or existing winner records. Trophy Guru proposes names and years for review, and the club corrects and confirms the information before sharing it. Source photographs and private member information remain in the working archive.

What the demo shows

This demonstration shows how members can explore a published honours board. It does not upload photographs, analyse your trophies or create an account. To evaluate transcription on your own collection, start a private archive and try your first trophy free. Check the proposed readings against your own source photographs before deciding whether to extend the project.

Keep the original history and a digital copy

A searchable board gives members another way to discover a club’s achievements. It does not replace the physical trophies or the original club records. Keep those sources, review uncertain entries carefully and export a CSV copy of the archive as part of your club’s handover process.

Three things to try in the demonstration

  1. Compare seasons. Open the year view and choose 1967, then 1968. The trophy cards show the winners recorded in each season.
  2. Follow a competition. Switch to the trophy view and open the Captain’s Cup. Browse the seven years of example winners attached to that trophy.
  3. Explore a winner’s history. Switch to the person view and select a name. The board brings that person’s recorded honours together across the example collection.

The example contains six trophies and 42 honours across 1962–1968. The names and results are invented to demonstrate navigation. They are not transcriptions of a real club’s records and do not demonstrate an accuracy rate.
